Market Café

One of Mossel Clay’s recent commissions was created for Market Café, featuring a collection of custom ceramic pieces designed specifically for their space. The project included handcrafted plates, wine coolers, and serving bowls, each made to complement the café’s style while remaining practical for everyday service.
Every piece was shaped and finished by hand in our studio, giving the tableware a warm, authentic feel that celebrates the beauty of handmade ceramics.

Garden Walk Mall
Mossel Clay produced hundreds of handmade terracotta pots for the new Garden Walk Mall in Hartenbos, created in a variety of sizes to suit the mall’s urban, earthy design. The pots are used throughout the space as light shades, display pieces, and hanging wall features for plants, adding natural texture and warmth to the modern architecture.
This large-scale commission showcases Mossel Clay’s ability to combine craftsmanship with high-volume production, bringing the timeless character of handmade terracotta into a contemporary retail environment.

Fermentation/Kimchi Pots
Our latest commission currently in progress, feature large, handcrafted fermentation pots designed for kimchi and other traditional ferments. These beautiful, oversized vessels are made with both function and form in mind, allowing for natural fermentation while celebrating the timeless appeal of clay.
Each pot is carefully shaped and finished, creating pieces that are not only practical but striking in their scale and presence.
